Europa League final: Vardy scores for France

France and Spain play out the Europa League tie in the last 16 of Euro 2016 on Thursday.

The game is being played at Stade de France, the home of France’s national football team, which will be attended by some 300,000 fans.

The game will be streamed live on France2 and Eurosport.

The French players are not the only ones with a big chance to make a big impression, as former Everton striker Gerard Deulofeu, who has been training with Vardy this season, will also be at the stadium.

Deulofoeu, 27, scored 11 goals for Everton last season, scoring in a 5-0 win over Manchester United in the Champions League.

He has also been linked with a move to AC Milan, according to the Mirror.

The 24-year-old was also linked with Napoli, but the Italian side rejected the offer and instead offered him a two-year contract.

In addition to Deuloffeu, another player who could potentially cause a shock is Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo.

The Italy international has impressed during his loan spell at the Turin club, scoring nine goals and two assists in 31 Serie A games.
