UNITED STATES — Chinese billionaires have been the world’s richest for more than a decade, according to a new analysis by CNBC.
The ranking was published on Thursday.
The U.S. is still second, with a wealth distribution of just under $4 trillion.
Singapore’s wealth is a fraction of the $8.7 trillion global, and the report’s authors say it’s because it’s not a top-tier economic power like Russia or the United Kingdom.
China, meanwhile, is a top 10 economy.
